Introduction to ChatGPT
Chat GPT is one of the most potent and intelligent artificial intelligence chatbots developed by a San Francisco-based company called OpenAI. This AI bot was first introduced in November 2022.
OpenAI claims that ChatGPT can respond to theoretical essays, mathematical solutions, and narratives thanks to the dialogue model. It also claims to be able to admit when it makes mistakes and respond to follow-up inquiries.
Introduction to Bard
Bard is Google’s artificial intelligence chatbot. It will work similarly to ChatGPT, which means, users will be able to use the chatbot through conversation. This new chatbot is based on Google’s Language Model for Dialogue Application (Language Model for Dialogue Application or LaMDA).
Key differences between ChatGPT and Google Bard
- Bard uses LaMDA which is a next-generation language unveiled by Google in 2021, whereas ChatGPT makes use of GPT 3.5.
- Bard will always obtain information from the internet, ensuring it has the most recent information. On the other side, data in ChatGPT’s sources end in 2021, so it has limitations.
- Due to Google’s vast data collection, Bard AI is able to access a greater depth and variety of information than other AI platforms, such as Chat GPT.
Based on a blog post on Google, Bard is being tested with trusted testers and should be available to the public in a few weeks.
